Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested 13 noncitizens accused of voter fraud and other election-related offenses, according to Department of Homeland Security documents obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller. The article does not reproduce the documents, and the cases have not been independently confirmed.
The people named come from countries including Honduras, Mexico, Cuba, Somalia, Vietnam and Cambodia.
They are accused of voting illegally in elections ranging from 1992 to 2026; six of the 13 cases involve the 2024 election, and two involve a 2026 election. Several have prior criminal convictions, according to the department.
The Daily Caller notes that the documents do not establish that every individual named has been convicted of an election-related offense.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin told the outlet that ICE “arrested dozens of non-citizens who illegally voted,” a larger figure than the 13 cases in the documents.
Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella said the arrests followed “careful, methodical investigations” with federal, state and local partners. “When the facts support criminal charges, we pursue them,” he said.
In June, DHS directed ICE to enforce stricter penalties, including deportation, for noncitizens who vote illegally, the outlet reports. The arrests come days before the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
