CNN has a new theme song they are playing in the office…
“Another One Bites the Dust.”
Political analyst Chris Cillizza has been terminated.

CNN is clearly trying to shed the label of being a biased news agency.
New CEO Chris Licht is getting rid of a lot of the contributors that were blatantly biased as well as dumping some of the main anchors to show he means business…

In announcing the companywide layoffs, Licht, in part, wrote, “Our people are the heart and soul of this organization.
“It is incredibly hard to say goodbye to any one member of the CNN team, much less many.”
He has called it a “recalibrated reporting strategy.”

Licht says those being notified today are largely paid contributors and then tomorrow CNN "will notify impacted employees."

Since Trump left office, CNN has been on life support.
It lived and breathed anti-Trump headlines for the better part of five years.
That singular focus lost its appeal to a lot of people over time.
This new focus, however, could bring the network back to life and start to cut into Fox News’ market share if they do it right.
However, CNN has a long way to go to earn viewers’ trust, and that will not happen overnight.
Licht has to be looking at this as the network not having anyplace but up to go at this point, as CNN has been holding the floor in terms of ratings for years among the major cable news networks.
