Networks are cleaning house amid numerous controversies.
It was only hours ago that we found out that Fox News had fired Tucker Carlson.
Now, reports are breaking that CNN has terminated Don Lemon.
You’re Out
Lemon has been at the center of what many are deeming very “sexist” comments.
This was not a one-off thing, either.
Lemon has been called out by numerous co-workers, with some of them storming off the set.
He clearly thought he was above discipline, and was utterly stunned that the network let him go.
Lemon stated, “I am stunned.
“After 17 years at CNN I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.”
His comment was directed at the fact the network chose to inform his agent rather than contact Lemon directly…

The final nail in the coffin for Lemon may have been a report in Variety that was published earlier this month.
It detailed alleged reports of Lemon regularly being hostile toward coworkers who were women.
Lemon’s team issued a statement on the report, saying, “The story, which is riddled with patently false anecdotes and no concrete evidence, is entirely based on unsourced, unsubstantiated, 15-year-old anonymous gossip.”
His team added that they were stunned that it was “amazing and disappointing that Variety would be so reckless.”
What I find rather ironic is that most of the sources in the Variety piece spoke on the condition of anonymity, which is what CNN has based far too many of its headlines on over the last six years.
