Surprise… the Russians were lying.
Earlier this week, as I am sure you know, the Russians took out one of our surveillance drones.
The Russians claimed there was no contact made, but video evidence shows this was clearly a very aggressive act on the part of the Russians.

Russia had denied that its fighter had ever contact the drone, but this video would appear to show otherwise.
As the Russian fighter approaches, the jet opens up its fuel tanks and dumps on the drone.
However, it also appears to clip the drone, damaging the propeller.
The drone becomes inoperative at this time, which is when it crashed into the ocean…
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the drone flights “were provocative in nature” and could lead to “an escalation … in the Black Sea zone.”
The also threatened the United States, but the drone was actually flying over international airspace, so the Russians really have no standing here.
Defense Secretary Austin stated that our aircraft will continue “to operate wherever international law allows. And it is incumbent on Russia to operate its military aircraft in a safe and professional manner.”
The Pentagon, to this point, has downplayed the incident, but Joe Biden is clearly being tested.
I am not saying I want the man to start a war here, but he has to do something to show that this is simply unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
If he doesn’t, we are going to see a lot more multi-million drones turned into ocean garbage.
