As much of a fan of Elon Musk as I am for his general point of view on the state of the world, I have to say that he’s not perfect.

Let’s face it, nobody is. No product is perfect either.

Which is why it is so infuriating when liberals are making such a push for every vehicle on the road to be electric. The technology just isn’t there yet.

Now, let me tell the truth here and disclose that I have one of those electric bikes where you don’t have to pedal if you don’t want to. I will ride it places where the distance is short that I have to travel to if the weather is nice.

I also take one when I go camping so I don’t have to drive my car any more than I already have.

That being said, it is not something that I would try to drive from Detroit to Tampa if I was told to. The technology just is not there for long hauls.

Which brings me back around to Elon Musk. See, I like the IDEA of electric cars, but the technology is far off the mark of where it needs to be.

There are not enough charging stations. There’s a gas station on every damn corner.

That and there are problems cropping up with Tesla vehicles that are almost mind boggling.

For example, a video was released recently that shows a horrible and potentially dangerous problem concerning the accelerator pedal of the Tesla Cybertruck.

More specifically the car started accelerating on its own. Now, I don’t know about you folks but I don’t like it when my car does something without me telling it to.

The problem with a lot of the technical issues and design flaws of the Tesla vehicles is that the company is facing such horrible pressure from the Biden Administration to get these vehicles out and force people into them is that they are having to cut corners.

Cutting corners is fine if you are making a sandwich, but when it is something that can go at a high rate of speed and crash into a wall if not properly tuned then we have a big problem on our hands.
