A very interesting question was recently posed to Governor Ron DeSantis.

He was asked if he would be willing to be the number two on a Donald Trump presidential ticket.

DeSantis hinted that he would turn down the offer, which elicited an immediate response from Trump.

Not My Style

DeSantis told Newsmax, “I think I’m probably more of an executive guy.

“I think that you want to be able to do things.

“That’s part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.”

“We’re able to make things happen, and I think that’s probably what I am best suited for.”

When he was asked if he would ask Trump to join his ticket if he won the nomination, he chose to deflect, but there is no way that I believe DeSantis would ask because he knows Trump’s ego would never allow him to be a number two.

Besides, with all the attacks that Trump has been launching at DeSantis, why not just send him away with nothing.

Trump was later asked if he would add DeSantis to his ticket, and he responded in kind, so you know he already knew DeSantis’ answer to the question.

Trump stated, “No, I think that would be a very unlikely alliance.

“We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party.

“I’ve never thought of it; but you know some people every once in a while mention it, but that’s about it.”

Trump and DeSantis would have made a formidable team of Trump would have learned how to play in the sandbox nice, but that did not happen.

Now we are going to have the two biggest factions of the GOP at war, hoping the voters can make peace before the election to take Biden out.
