Early Friday morning, President Trump announced via Twitter that he and the First Lady had tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the White House physician, Trump was only experiencing mild symptoms this morning.

However, as the day wore on, Trump’s symptoms started to worsen.

Reports stated that Trump was experiencing fatigue, chill, a cough, and a fever.

As a precautionary measure, Trump was taken to Walter Reed for observation.

He did, however, leave the White House under his own power while boarding Marine One…

Trump is reportedly being treated with an experimental antibody cocktail that is meant to quickly lessen the symptoms of the virus.

Over and above his health conditions, this could deal Trump a significant blow regarding his chances of being re-elected.

He has been trying to portray an image that the country has turned a corner, so that narrative is going to take a hit.

On the other hand, if Trump can beat this virus and do so quickly, it could rally voters behind him.

Clearly, we will keep our eye on this story and update as necessary.
