Protests have erupted around the country to support Palestine, some of which have been personally supported by members of Congress.

The protests have now reached the point where these groups are taking over buildings or areas of the campus, so police have been forced to step in.

The White House finally condemned the protests, but it could cost Biden significantly in the process.

Taking Over College Campuses

It was only about a week ago that Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) daughter was arrested for trespassing at Columbia.

Even though she was not a student there, she went on their campus to protest.

After her arrest, Democrats tried to say this was revenge against Omar, but the girl was literally trespassing and deserved to be arrested.

Several days later, Omar joined her daughter at the protest.

These protests have now gotten out of control, with schools calling in law enforcement to clear the campuses.

The White House was backed up against the wall due to the violent nature of many of these protests and finally decried them publicly.

The administration stated, “President Biden has stood against repugnant, antisemitic smears and violent rhetoric his entire life.

“He condemns the use of the term ‘intifada,’ as he has the other tragic and dangerous hate speech displayed in recent days.

“Forcibly taking over buildings is not peaceful – it is wrong. And hate speech and hate symbols have no place in America.”

The problem for Biden is that he is bleeding Gen Z support right now, and this will not help his cause.

These voters are surely not going to vote for Trump, but they could go to Kennedy, which could really hurt Biden in battleground states and possibly cost him a blue state or two if he loses enough support to Kennedy.

This is what happens when you continue to embrace radicals and they start to take over your party.
