I have to say, California Governor Gavin Newsom really does live in a fantasy land.

Newsom ponied up $105,000 for ads to air on Fox News taking a shot at Governor Ron DeSantis.

While he did not mention DeSantis by name, the ads purpose was pretty clear.

Newsom is looking to take out his likely opponent if Biden and Trump do not run in 2024.

Flushing Cash

The ad is a complete joke and should be immediately tagged as misinformation.

You can see the full 30-second spot in the video below…

Here is the funny thing…

Over the last two years, California has seen a decrease in residency by almost 300,000.

Over the last year alone, Florida’s population has increased by more than 200,000.

Want to guess where a nice chunk of those people came from?

Ron DeSantis’ team could not wait to fire back after the ads aired.

Florida Department of Health spokesman Jeremy Redfern sent out an epic tweet…

Campaign spokesman Dave Abrams added, “Gavin Newsom might as well light a pile of cash on fire.

“Pass the popcorn for his desperate attempt to win back the California refugees who fled the hellhole he created in his state to come to Florida.”

This is now the second fight that Newsom picked with red states that he took a beating on.

After joining Trump’s Truth Social, Newsom claimed there was a red-state murder problem.

However, when you dig into the red states with high murder rates, you find out that the major cities in those states that account for the majority of the murders are run by Democrat mayors.

Numerous people pointed out that fact to Newsom, but he declined to engage with them.

Fantasy land… that is where Gavin lives.
